This workshop is designed around the maps of Istanbul in the exhibition by Alexandre Raymond, Helmuth Karl Bernhard von Moltke, Gioacchino Brunetti, and François Kauffer, who produced the first rigorously surveyed map of Istanbul. On Tuesday, 14 November, at 2 p.m., the Map Drawing Workshop will introduce children aged 7-12 to various maps of Istanbul, sparking a conversation about mapping techniques. They will then have a chance to create their own maps inspired by the maps in the exhibition.
