Istanbul as Far as the Eye Can See: Views across Five Centuries
20 September 2023 - 26 May 2024
A selection from the collections of the Sadberk Hanım Museum is on show at Meşher as of December 16, 2020 in celebration of the museum’s 40th anniversary.
With the exhibition Alexis Gritchenko – The Constantinople Years, Meşher showcases the Ukrainian artist’s artworks of Istanbul, where he lived between 1919 and 1921. 100 years after Gritchenko’s visit to Istanbul and in the light of his memoirs, more than 150 artworks that the artist produced during those two years are brought together for the first time.
Meşher, a new exhibition space initiated by the Vehbi Koç Foundation, opens with its inaugural exhibition Beyond the Vessel: Myths, Legends, and Fables in Contemporary Ceramics around Europe.
